A floxed neo was insert upstream of exoon 7 and an additional loxP site downstream of exon 7. The neo cassette was subsequently removed by cre-mediated recombination using a transient transfection of a cre-expressing plasmid. Insertion was confirmed by Southern blot. (J:126113)
