The 489 bp conserved enhancer between Il13 and Il4 was replaced with a loxP site flanked neomycin resistance gene cassette that was subsequently removed following a cross with Tg(MMTV-cre)1Mam mice. The absence of the enhancer was confirmed by Southern blot analysis. (J:125684)
