Part of exon 3 and all of exon 4 were replaced with a lacZ-neo cassette. Absence of transcript was confirmed by northern blot on E10.5 whole embryos with a probe corresponding to nucleotids +238 to +1082 of GenBank accession no. NM_130865. (J:125193)
