An IRES floxed PGK-neo cassette and the diphtheria toxin (DTA) gene were inserted in the downstream untranslated portion of the gene. Multiple stop codons in the PGK-neo cassette prevent translation read-through of the diphtheria toxin gene. Functional DTA is expressed upon Cre-mediated recombination. (J:101434)
