This transgene contains a tetracycline promoter driving the expression of tetanus toxin light chain-IRES-tau-lacZ. The expression of lacZ is inducible and restricted to olfactory neurons. This transgene expresses in fewer than 1% of olfactory neurons in the presence of Omptm1(tTA)Gogo. (J:124050)
