Human FGF2 cDNA including the coding sequences for all three CUG and the AUG translational start coding sequences was put under control of a constitutive phosphoglycerate kinase promoter. The Pgk1 polyadenylation sequence was also included in the construct. The construct was microinjected into pronuclear FVB/N oocytes. Production of human FGF2 protein was verified by Western blot. Founder lines with stable copy number and transmission of the transgene were identified and line 15 was established. (J:33064)
