A targeting vector was designed to insert loxP sites to flank exons 7-11 and insert a neomycin resistance cassette immediately downstream of exon 11. Protein expression is reduced in homozygous muscle and adipose tissue to 30% and 16 - 20% of wild-type, respectively. (J:123335)
