The HA gene derived from the influenza virus A/PR/8/34 (Mount Sinai strain) has been placed under the control of the rat C3 promoter. Two founder lines were established. Line 142 contains three intact copies of the transgene and is expressed in many non=lymphatic tissues including the prostate, testes, heart, salivary gland, skeletal muscle, and the lung. (J:123134)
