Tg(Ttr-KLF6)1Fdmn

The tranthyretin promoter was fused to the human KLF6 cDNA to induce hepatoyte-specific overexpresson that is two- to three-fold above normal levels. Expression is localized to hepatocytes with variable expression in the choroid plexus of the brain at high transgene copy number. In addition to transgenic line 1, lines 4 and 9 were also made.
