A targeting vector was used to eliminate the Dntt promoter and exon 1 by homologous recombination. Terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase enzymatic activity or transcripts from the mutant allele are not detected in Dntt-null thymocytes by RNA blotting. (J:75921)
