A 4.3kb promoter fragment was placed upstream of a cre-GFP cassette. The transgene drives expression in the heart at E16.5 that rises slowly durng fetal development and increased neonatally. Expression at day 30 is in the ventricular and artrial myocytes with no recombination occuring in other tissues. (J:122464)
