The coding sequence for the transactivator of the Tet-on system (rTetR) was introduced directly after the ATG, disrupting the coding sequence. The transactivator responsive element (TRE) was placed in the reverse orientation, driving cre expression. Floxed neomycin and zeocin resistance genes were included in the vector, also in reverse orientation. (J:122651)
