An IRES-GFP-IRES-taulacZ-LoxP-neo-LoxP cassette was inserted just downstream of the stop codon to permit tricistronic expression of the endogenous sequence, GFP and taulacZ, and the neomycin selectable cassette was excised by breeding with mice bearing Tg(EIIa-cre). (J:74057)
