Human CD2 cDNA driven by an IRES was inserted 1.5 kbp upstream of the putative polyA site and 104 bp downstream of the RSS such that the human CD2 would be expressed exclusively from the germline transcription and will be deleted after recombination involving Tcrb-V8.2 or any upstream Tcrb gene.
