A gene trap vector containing a splice acceptor, betageo, polyA, loxP site, FRT-flanked polyA, lox2272 site, pSP73 and a lox511 site was inserted into intron 2 of the locus. The integration event resulted in either a 628- or 562-bp deletion in the 5' or 3' region of the vector, respectively. No deletion occurred in the genomic region around the insertion site. This allele is a hypomorph. (J:121125)
