These mice express the FLAG-tagged locus lacking amino acids 326-330, which comprise the degredation domain. A floxed neo included in the vector was subsequently removed via cre mediated recombination. Expression of the mutant transcript was similar to wild type in localization, however, levels were lower. Likewise, protein expression was lower, demonstrating that the allele is a hypomorph. Western blot confirmed absence of wild-type protein in mutants. (J:119678)
