A floxed neo cassette is inserted between exon 1 and 2 with the addition of a loxP site 3' of exon 3 creating a hypomorphic allele. Aberrant splicing products were confirmed by RT-PCR and decreased protein production was confirmed by quantification of a western blots on mice testicular tissue. (J:119835)
