A floxed neo-tk cassette was inserted into intron 3. A third loxP site was inserted into intron 5. Transient cre expression removed the floxed sequence including the neo and exons 4 and 5. Northern blot confirmed absence of transcript in mutant heart, kidney and brown adipose tissue. (J:120079)
