Rearranged Valpha11.1 and Vbeta8.2 TCR chain genes including the endogenous promoter regions were isolated from Type II collagen-specific T-cell hybridoma 172 and then were ligated together. The resulting single construct was used to generate transgenic mice. (J:118789)
