A concatamer of sleeping beauty transposable elements each consisting of the improved inverted repeat direct repeat sequence specific for sleeping beauty transposase flanking a carp beta-actin splice acceptor site, stop signals in each of the 3 reading frames, the encaphalomyocarditis virus IRES, the Tet-Off sequence, and SV40 late polyadenylation signal. These elements act as gene traps when inserted in the correct orientation. In line 4563, 50 copies of the transposable element are incorporated. (J:117975)
