A floxed neo was inserted into intron 3 and an additional loxP site was inserted into intron 11. A ~500 bp deletion was created in intron 5 for ES cell screening purposes. Transient cre expression resulted in the deletion of exons 4-11. Semi-quantitative RT-PCR confirmed lack of expression in mutant thymus. (J:117301)
