LoxP sites were introduced into introns 3 and 13 to flox exons 5 through 13. A neo cassette, inserted as a selectable marker, was removed following a cross to a cre deletor strain (Tg(CMV-cre)1Cgn mice). Southern blot analysis was used to confirm genomic modifications. (J:126551)
