IRES-tauGFP-LNL was inserted immediately after the V2r1b stop codon and the mice generated from the neomycin selected ES cells were bred to mice bearing Tg(EIIa-cre)C5379Lmgd to excise the neomycin-selectable marker leaving only loxP site. This targeted insertion results in cotranslation of tauGFP and V2R1Bfrom a bicistronic message. (J:79022)
