The human ARAF cDNA was introduced in frame with exon 3 of the locus. This exon is common to all three isoforms and harbors the beginning of the Ras binding domain. RT-PCR and Western blot confirmed the production of chimeric transcripts and protein from the locus. A floxed neo included in the vector did not interfere with expression of the protein. (J:112971)
