This transgene consists of both exons of Hoxb7 under the control of the alpha-myosin heavy chain promoter, driving the expression of Hoxb7 in the heart. Whole mount in situ hybridization shows ectopic expression of Hoxb7 in the heart, both in the atrium and ventricle. (J:28713)
