Coding sequence for EGFP with a stop codon was inserted into the locus immediately after the translation initiation codon in exon 2. A floxed neo was inserted into intron 3. Northern blot showed that the average level of mutant transcript in heterozygotes was 58% of that in wild-type mice. (J:108323)
