A targeting vector containing the lacZ gene and a loxP-flanked PGKneo cassette disrupted part of exon 2, which contains the initiation codon, all of exons 3 to 6, and part of exon 7. RT-PCR analysis of testes from homozygous mutant mice did not detect transcript. (J:102875)
