The alpha7 specific exon 1D coding sequence was replaced by that of the alpha1 specific exon 1A such that only the alpha1 isoform was expressed. A floxed neo was deleted by mating with pgk-cre mice. RT-PCR confirmed recombination of locus. (J:106993)
