A 3.3 kb fragment, including exons 2 and 3, was replaced with a neo cassette via homologous recombination. Northern blot analysis detected very low levels of expression (less than 10% that of wild-type) and Western blot analysis did not detect any protein expression in the liver. (J:103031)
