An Frt-flanked neomycin resistance cassette was inserted into intron 6. Mutant mice expressed protein at levels reduced to about 10-30% of wild-type levels. LoxP sites were inserted to flank exons 1 to 6, encompassing the inserted neo. (J:101494)
