This mutation was found in mice derived by nuclear transplantation of a B-cell nucleus into enucleated oocytes from superovulated C57BL/6 X DBA/2 F1 female mice. A rearrangement in the B-cell nucleus occurred between the heavy chain J1 element and sequence immediately upstream of DFL16.1. This results in the elimination of all heavy chain D elements.
