Sequence containing nucleotides 209-320 in exon 3 was replaced with a loxP flanked PGK-hygro-pA cassette, resulting in a frame shift in the ORF and a truncation of the resulting protein. Western blot of mutant brain tissue demonstrated that protein was undetectable. (J:96823)
