A gene trap vector consisting of LTR sites flanking a Beta-geo cassette containing a splice acceptor and a PGK-puromycin resistance cassette containing a splice donor integrated into intron 1. No mRNA was found in the liver of homozygotes when analyzed by RT-PCR. Western blot confirmed lack of protein. (J:82747)
