The 5'DNAse I hypersensitive sites 5 and 6 were replaced with a loxP site flanked hygromycin resistance gene cassette. Upon crossing with CMV-cre deleter mice, the hygro cassette was excised, leaving a single loxP site in place of 5' HS5 and 6. (J:51229)
