The promoter for the murine MHC class I H-2K gene directed the expression of a rat Polb cDNA fragment to the thymus. Enhancer and polyA sequences were donated by the rabbit Beta-globin gene. Transgene expression was detected in the thymus, but not in the spleen, kidney, heart, lung, liver, intestine, or testis. (J:90141)
