The rat probasin promoter drove the expression of a murine Trp53 sequence containing an arginine to leucine mutation at codon 172. The polyA sequence was donated by SV40. RT-PCR detected transgene expression in the prostate, brain and spleen, but not in the bladder, kidney, testis, lung, heart, seminal vessicle, liver or coagulating gland. Expression levels were said to be subphysiological. (J:87255)
