Exon 3 was flanked by loxP sites followed by a floxed neo cassette. The neo cassette was removed in ES cells by transient transfection with a vector driving expression of Cre recombinase, leaving exon 3 flanked by loxP sites. Western blot analysis of lymph node B cells showed that expression levels did not differ from that of wild-type. (J:93890)
