A rat Erbb2 cDNA under regulatory control of the bovine keratin 5 promoter was used for the transgene. A rabbit beta-globin intron and SV40 polyadenylation sequence was also included in the construct. Transgene expression in basal epidermal cells was confirmed by immunofluorescence of dorsal skin and skin tumor sections. (J:64524)
