Exons 2-9, encoding amino acids 1-121, were replaced with a loxP site flanked neomycin resistance gene. Crossing with deleter mice Tg(CMV-cre)1Cgn removed the neo cassette. Immunoblots of BMMCs determined absence of protein expression from this allele in mutants. (J:93950)
