A 2.75 kb fragment containing 500 bp upstream of the predicted transcriptional start site and the first two exons, which include the translation start site and half the P-loop domain, was replaced with a loxP flanked PGK-neo cassette via homologous recombination. Northern blot analysis confirms absence of RNA. (J:93573)
