A gene trap containing a 5'-LTR, splice acceptor, betageo-pA, PGK-puro, splice donor, and a 3'-LTR was inserted into intron 9. Transcript was not detected in mutant testes in Northern blot analysis. Western blot confirmed lack of protein in testicular lysates of mutants. (J:92779)
