This beta chain transgene expresses a truncated class II A beta molecules that lack the 13 membrane distal residues. Transgene expression was detected on B cells and stimulated macrophages, with the expression on B cells being about a log unit higher than endogenous expression. Immunoprecipitation of B cell lysates confirmed a truncated I-Abeta chain was being expressed. (J:91341)
