An IRES cre was inserted into exon 4 of Pcp2 in a mouse BAC that also contained truncated Nte and full length Stxbp2 and Xab2. Four founder lines were generated, but only line 3555 was characterized. Cre expression is seen in Purkinje cells in the cerebellum and retinal bipolar cells. (J:92300)
