This transgene consists of a modified mouse BAC containing 150 kb of genomic DNA including the prestin gene with a His-Flag tag before and an IRES/cre after the stop codon. One copy of the transgene was integrated in this line. Cre expression is seen in outer hair cells starting at P6. (J:91732)
