A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 15 and a loxP-flanked neomycin selection cassette was in serted into intron 15. Transient Cre expression in ES cells excised the selection cassette from intron 15, leaving exon 15 surrounded by loxP sites. Recombination was verified by Southern blot. (J:91484)
