The stop codon was deleted and in its place a MYC6-IRES-taulacZ cassette was inserted in frame, thereby adding a protein linker of LIKDPHRFKA between the endogenous gene and six repeats of the MYC epitope tag. The epitiope was detected in dendrites and axons but not in cilia. (J:91160)
