A gene trap vector containing a neo-btk disrupted the gene by integrating into intron 1, thereby introducing premature stop codons after transcription. No gene products were detected by RT-PCR, including any splice variants. Western blot confirmed absence of full-length protein and fusion proteins of any size. (J:91206)
