This allele was generated by breeding mice homozygous for Cnr1tm1Ltz with transgenic mice ubiquitously expressing flip recombinase, thereby leaving the floxed coding region. Southern blot and PCR analysis confirmed recombination. mRNA was present in pyramidal neurons. (J:89842)
