The endogenous locus was disrupted by insertion into intron 4 of the pGT1,-2, or-3 retroviral gene trap vector containing a splice acceptor site, beta-geo, and an SV40 poly-A signal. A fusion protein consisting of the N-terminal 132 amino acids of the Fbl protein fused to lacZ is expressed from the mutated locus. (J:71817, J:89938)
