The loxP site flanked STOP cassette was removed from Trp53tm3Tyj via Cre-mediated recombination, allowing for the expression of the p.R270H missense mutation in exon 8. Quantitative RT-PCR confirmed that the point mutation allele was expressed at a level comparable to wild-type. (J:126915)
